The parents need to talk with the Emo kids, they need to be welcoming to the kids. Be aware of their interests in music and type of clothes they wear without being something against them. Some examples of questions you could be asking are; “What is your definition of what does Emo mean ?,This is always a good step towards winning their trust in what you are doing or proposing. Kids are trying to deal with emotions through emo culture, so it is important to listen to them, do not shut them down.
